Acronym: Amiga Research Operating System

AROS is an OS which tries to be compatible with AmigaOS 3.1. It is still in alpha development although a demo (AROS and AROS Max) currently runs from Linux, FreeBSD, Windows x86 and native on x86 and m86k (Palm).
