Bibliometric analysis is a method for the studying of the life cycle and utility of literature on a given subject. This method which is formerly called statistical bibliography can reveal the historical development and underlying patterns of metadata. Potentially, the global publishing archive can even reveal the movement of researchers among institutions and sectors.
