Acronym: Communications Decency Act

U.S. Telecomunication reform bill passed by Congress on Feb 1, 1996, to restrict new information flows against sexually explicit and other offensive material, while allowing for education and entertainment functions. Before it was implemented this legislation was found to be unconstitutional and struck down.
