Non-hierarchical organizations that are based up on the social nature of humans. Ideally they operate on the premise that all members have at least one common goal, which the collective then endeavors to fulfill. Today, collectives are usually based on the political philosophies of anarchism or socialism, although collective behaviors have existed as long as man.
