A 2-3 yearly held major hacker event, about various subjects around freedom, hacking, open source, DIY, Autonomy and A LOT more. Founded by Emmanuel Goldstein. The most recent past HOPE conference was H2K2, was held in New York in 2002. HOPE is sponsored by 2600.
The next HOPE conference is The Fifth Hope, to be held from July 9-11, 2004, at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City.
