Hypermedia is a technology that presents and relates information by using nonlinear, nonsequential links rather than linear sequences. This “point and click” easy to use interface, creates a uniquely intuitive and rich information environment.
From a literary perspective, where a novel is a linear text which begins from a table of contents and ending with a glossary. Hypermedia is somewhat like a “choose your own adventure”, allowing you to hop about and read the story in a nonlinear manner.
