The file name: Counting Crows – This Desert Life.mp3 does not:
- Give the band’s web site
- Say when the file was recorded
- Give Copyright information
- Add comments about quality
ID3 tags are added to the file and can be read by both hardware and software MP3 players. ID3 tags can, however, be used as evidence of where an MP3 originated from and therefore that it is not YOUR personally ripped copy of a file.
