Shortform: ID
Classification of a set of features such as name, address, age, signature, DNA and fingerprint. Identification may occur through a process of surveillance. Still it is possible to remain unknown, anonymous or obscure.
Identification often includes analysis through recognition or pattern verification. It might include research or answer to question about a person or examination of forensic evidence for a specific identity or human characteristic. Identification can involve registration, eavesdropping, photography and video technology.
