International Treaties

International treaties allow for the cooperative achievement of mutually benefical outcomes between signatory nations. Once signed, governments are then obliged to modify their soverign laws to be compatible with the specifications of the treaty. Protocols are designed to provide a structure to agreements.

Treaties can coordinated by the United Nations or other central body, or they may be negiotated between individual nations.
