KOffice is a full office suite for KDE. It is Free Software distributed under the GPL. At the time of writing the current stable version is KOffice 1.3 (http://www.koffice.org/news.php#KOfficereleased).

Applications included are

  • KWord (http://www.koffice.org/kword/) – A word processor.
  • KSpreadsheet (http://www.koffice.org/kspread/) – A speadsheet.
  • KPresenter (http://www.koffice.org/kpresenter/) – A presentation program.
  • Kivio (http://www.koffice.org/kivio/) – A flowcharting application.
  • Karbon14 (http://www.koffice.org/karbon/) – A vector drawing application. Replaced the unmainted Kontour (http://www.koffice.org/faq/#ButwasthevectorgraphicapplicationnotKontour) in 2003.
  • Krita (http://www.koffice.org/krita/) – An image manipulation program, like The GIMP. (Currently not finished as in KOffice 1.3).
  • Kugar (http://www.koffice.org/kugar/) – Tool for generating business quality reports.
  • KChart (http://www.koffice.org/kchart) – Graph and chart drawing tool.
  • KFormula (http://www.koffice.org/kformula) – Formula editor.
  • Kexi (http://www.koffice.org/kexi/) – Database Environment Access.
  • Filters (http://www.koffice.org/filters/) – Import/Export filters for KOffice, rendering a rendering lock-in impossible.
