Libraries are a good source of knowledge because they are a place for designed for the research, study and the storage of a wide range of information. Libraries usually allow patrons to view a catalogue of material with a web browser.
Many people use libraries to evaluate and read books, magazines and other literary material. Recently libraries expanded from purely bibliographic activities to become a source for multimedia, internet access and other information technologies.
The term library is also used in the programming world, see Toolkits and Libraries.
