Acronym: Resource Document Framework

RDF is a W3C standard designed for working with metadata. A Resource Document Framework provides meaning to the structure of XML documents. RDF describe relationships between different web pages and concepts through a programming structure of things, properties and values.

RDF is more complicated than HTML to author. This is one of the issues for developers of the Semantic Web.
