Acronym: Slackware Administrators Security tool kit

SAStk is a set of security scripts for Slackware Linux. The primary design goal is to quickly and efficiently secure a stock install of Slackware.

Also of interest is a white paper wrote by Jeffrey Denton who is one of the developers of SAStk. The white paper which is available here (http://www.c2i2.com/~dentonj/system-hardening) goes into much more depth than SAStk does. As of Dec 2002, both SAStk and this white paper haven’t been updated since Slackware 8, but the author has expressed continued interest in the project.
