Utopia is an imaginary reality, where all people live in a harmonious society and they have what they need and want, without oppression and violence that causes harm to others. Utopia is a kind of political theory in which the state of current affairs is compared to an alternative ideal model. Examples include anarchism and marxism.
Currently we have to barter and moderate things in order to provide for the needs of ourselves and others. Many things do come free, such as the gift of language from parent to child. A utopian world would need to include accurate knowledge about our environment to survive sustainably.
Dystopia is the opposite of utopia. For example copyright poses artificial limits on communications for capitalist intentions.
